SerieA Game of the Week: Inter Milan vs Napoli

Ten points is what seperates Inter Milan and Napoli when they face off at the San Siro on 6th January. Interestingly, this season has seen a new twist in the serieA standings. Its Napoli who are leading Inter and sitting prettily in second place. But the next two fixtures can really demonstrate Napoli's Scudetto chances as they welcome Juventus to the San Paolo on the next matchday.

However, Napoli has always impressed the neutrals this season with their exciting brand of football helped by the amazing trio of Edinson Cavani, Lavezzi and Hamsik. Walter Mazzari, their master tactician, has given such a fluidity to this team with his 3-4-1-2 formation. And now they are, ready to face to face the defending champions. It is a big test for Inter too. Leonardo's first game in charge with Inter will be a tight affair as they cannot afford to lose further ground on league leaders Milan who are already 13 points ahead, although Inter have two games in hand( definitely not easy ones).

Among the other games, Juventus face Parma in the lunchtime kick off. Parma's Giovinco, Candreva and Palladino have special reasons to do well against their former side. Milan travel to Cagliari with new signing Antonio Cassano likely to make his official debut as a substitute.
